Assistance in choosing a car

If you are dreaming of a beautiful classic automobile of your own, the first task is to select the appropriate basis. The key is to choose the model that you like. However, you should not be guided by your heart only. It is worth investing money in automobiles the value of which is likely to increase in the future, thus helping you to recover your previous expenditure in a future resale of the car. The brands worthy of attention are those for which bodywork elements, mechanical parts and accessories are still available for sale.

The US market

We have extensive experience in buying and importing cars from the US market. We aim at vehicles coming from warm climates (e.g. California and Arizona), which are extremely favorable to bodywork components. What is more, when compared with the cars from the Polish market, the classics from the US are maintained in a state far closer to their original condition and are not burdened with the problems faced by the automobiles repaired in the times of the Polish People’s Republic, when vehicles were fitted with just about anything that was at hand. On site, we have a selection of several dozen cars for renovation.

Our specialty – Mercedes-Benz W107

Mercedes-Benz – a brand which has stood for class and top-quality for over 100 years. Invariably, it attracts collectors, who are interested in increasingly younger models. From our extensive offer we particularly recommend the W107 model, the third generation of the prestigious series of SL-class roadsters. This successor to Pagoda, also available in a fixed-roof version (SLC), combines a number of desirable features: it is stylish, safe, comfortable, mechanically durable and strong enough to easily keep up with today’s traffic.

The restoration process

During full restoration, the car is first taken apart. The chassis and the body are cleaned of paint coatings, repaired, and secured against corrosion using modern techniques (e.g. cataphoresis). We make new coatings using a comprehensive anticorrosive painting technology for renovating classic vehicles – NOVOL for Classic Cars. Mechanical components (such as suspension and drivetrain) are examined and repaired, and the engine is overhauled. If needed, the car is fitted with new upholstery, woodwork and a soft top.

Chrome plating

We create electrolytic coatings of the highest possible quality. Our parent company – Artmet Chrom – has several years of experience in restoring chrome-plated elements of classic cars. Thanks to a multi-stage process and the use of copper-nickel-chrome, the elements are in no way inferior to the original ones, making it possible to preserve the great looks of the car for several decades. Our customers include the most renowned domestic and foreign companies, e.g. we cooperate with the Mercedes-Benz Classic Service Center.

Service

We reach out a helping hand to all enthusiasts of classic automobiles. We offer maintenance services, including those which are shunned by repair workshops focused on servicing modern cars. We are particularly happy to help users of Mercedes-Benz cars from the 70’s and the 80’s of the 20th century. We are not afraid of V8 engines and are willing to undertake repairs e.g. of Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical injection systems. We have a large number of well-preserved second-hand parts coming from the dismantling of imported and tested Mercedes-Benz W107 vehicles.
